People often find themselves in a desperate situation for several reasons:

Spiritual boredom
The remedy for spiritual boredom is to become a doer of the Word and not only a hearer (James 1:22).
Knowledge without application eventually becomes boring and unfulfilling.
Hindered plans
Satan will try to hinder the plans that God has for your life (1 Thessalonians 2:18).
Regardless of what the devil tries to do to you, you must remember what God told you to do, hold on to it and act on it.
Hindrances won’t change what God has said.
God will bring to pass what He has promised.
Dead-ends
When you come to a dead-end situation, trust God (2 Corinthians 1:9).
Don’t look at a dead-end as the ultimate end, look at it as a new beginning.
Acknowledge dead-ends as the end of what you have been going through.
Dead-ends can open up a flow of supernatural power in your life. When something or someone tries to disrupt your fellowship with the Lord, the Holy Spirit will do everything He can to get your relationship with Him back on track (James 4:1-5).

PRAYER CONFESSIONS: Protection.

In my prosperity, I am like a mountain that cannot be moved (Psalm 30:6-7; 112:6-8).

The Lord has granted me long life and favour, and has preserved my spirit from destruction (Job 10:12).

God is pleased with me and His favour endures for a lifetime (Psalm 30:5, AMP).

I declare that no matter what happens around me, I have a covenant of peace with God and His love, kindness and favor will never depart from me (Isaiah 54:10, 14-17; 1 Samuel 25:6).

God surrounds and protects me with favour like a shield (Psalm 5:12).

Fear cannot rule in my life because I have favor with God (Luke 1:30).

My enemies cannot triumph over me because the Lord has favored me (Psalm 41:11). 

PRAYER CONFESSIONS: Healing

Father, Your words are life to me. They are healing and health to all my flesh (Proverbs 4:22, AMP).

Since the Spirit of Him Who raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in me, that same Spirit also gives life to my body (Romans 8:11).

Thank You, Father God, that I prosper and am in health even as my soul prospers (3 John 2).

Lord, You restore my health and heal my wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).

Thank You, Lord, for forgiving all of my iniquities and healing all of my diseases (Psalm 103:3).
